The most unrealistic and most expected thing is very specific pick up and drop off dates and a really low price. The two don’t go hand in hand very well. It’s not impossible but if you really, truly need the car picked up within that time frame then it would be smart to pay what your broker suggests. We will try to get you a lower price but specific dates cost more, that’s just how it is.
Your transport won’t be booked way in advance either. Carriers book their cars only a few days or so ahead of time. If you want pick up on the 20th then chances are we will book the carrier on the 18th or 19th. Don’t expect the carrier to be booked on the 10th. There are too many variables on the road for a driver to plan further than a few days ahead.
And of course there are people who want to pack their cars to the absolute limit. It’s incredible how much stuff they can fit. The problem with this is that they don’t mention it to us or they might downplay how much is in the car and end up getting charged extra by the driver.
When talking to brokers remember that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. We give it to our customers fair and they appreciate us for it.
