Snowbirds are an occurrence in mostly the southern portion of Mississippi. The transport prices are affected by the regular snowbird shipping pattern (high prices coming from a northern state between October and December and vice versa between April and May) but the effect is smaller than Alabama’s and much smaller than Florida‘s. Still the pattern is helpful if you are trying to ship your car for as cheap as possible.
Mississippi is also home to some very large automobile manufacturing plants. Like Alabama, the trucks moving these cars leave the state full but need help getting cars on the way back to Mississippi so getting a good rate is usually possible.
If you are shipping a long distance make sure to plan ahead and be flexible. Shorter routes are easier to get done around this area so you can have a stricter schedule and still get your transport done on schedule.
